I had the misfortune to recently fly from Stansted airport at a very early hour.
Besides the stupidly long lines for check-in and security, which nearly caused me to miss my flight, I had elected to stay at the absurdly expensive Stansted Hilton, which bills itself as 'on airport'. In this case, it means 5 miles away from the terminal building , which is technically inside the airport grounds.
Then they had the audacity to charge two quid for a transfer to the terminal building from the hotel.
Are Hilton so strapped for cash, they can't afford to do to a free transfer?
I think not...
See into the future...
Stansted is Not That Crap
Yes! Its true!
Actually I think the title of this entry should be "The Hilton is Crap".
The rooms are small, shabby and dimly lit, the staff snobby & unhelpful, the facilities antiquated, and the flags frayed and torn.
On top of this, they had the audacity to charge 9 pounds for a stingy continental breakfast and 2 pounds for the airport transfer!
Id choose the Holiday Inn any day! Thankyou and goodnight!
