Weather: very hot and sunny - not a cloud in the sky. thankfully cooling down towards the evening.
Walk Departure Time: 4.00pm
Walk Finishing Time: 7.05pm
Walk Distance: 5.3 miles

Part eight of the ring followed the River Brent and Grand Union Canal almost the whole way to Greenford. Highlights were ice-cream, maras, and rheas in Brent Lodge Park. We also saw a man walking the Ring (first spotting of a fellow Ring walker), and a wooden escalator at Greenford Station.
